Thirty four year-old blogger, Elisha Strom, has been arrested in Bedford County, Virginia for posting photos and the home address of an undercover narc on her blog. Her most recent post is rather harrowing. It simply reads “Uh-Oh. They’re Here.” She is being charged with harassing a police officer, with police arguing that revealing the identity of undercover officers puts them in danger.
A check of Strom’s blog reveals she has posted head shots of many, if not all, of the task force members.
There is also detailed accounts of the task force’s comings and goings.
Strom also posted pictures of several vehicles that could belong to JADE officers.
Other pictures include a state police investigator pumping gas and riding a motorcycle.
Police say, since most JADE officers do undercover work, posting their names, pictures, and possibly home addresses could put the officers in danger.
A state police investigator executed the search warrant at Strom’s Thaxton residence on July 16th, the same day as her arrest.
Court records indicate the officer confiscated her computers, notebooks, and cameras. (…)
Strom wrote on her blog all the information she compiled was readily available through public records searches and other means on the Internet.
If you’re planning on outing any undercover cops, it’s probably best to do it anonymously. The state doesn’t like it when you make it harder to enforce unjust laws.
You, Elisha, are a hero.

Fascist thugs invade privacy, so it is best to be wise about it. Free enough to fight for freedom, but not live it overtly.
Sounds like she should be added to

since most JADE officers do undercover work, posting their names, pictures, and possibly home addresses could put the officers in danger
There existance puts me in danger just sitting at home so F em
It’s also worthy to note the backstory here: Elisha Strom’s husband, the former managing director for the neo-nazi group National Vanguard, Kevin Alfred Strom, was arrested in 2008 for possession of child pornography. Elisha developed a crush on one of the arresting officers, had sex with him and then he tried to break it off. She started “stalking” him and eventually bedded a few other JADE officers. They all tried to break it off with her, and she started “stalking” them too. They sent her cease and desist letters which only made her MORE psycho, and the result is what you see on her blog. I’m not going to shed a tear for undercover pigs who get outed, but I’m not going to cry about a goddamned neo-nazi either.
I’m not sure where you got your info but it is incorrect. She did not actually sleep with any of the JADE officers. The person supplying her with the info maybe! I am very familiar with this case and her day to day doings. She is obviously very obsessed with the JADE TASK FORCE and she needs mental help!
Wow. I’m former law enforcement, and while I’m not under the illusion that all cops are good cops, most are. They DO provide a valuable service. Someone sitting at home who has nothing better to do than post info on undercover officers, who, like it or not, are simply doing their jobs with the goal of making the general public safer. Granted, the system is far from perfect, but I personally like the quote “Think the cops are slow? Next time you’re in trouble, try calling a crack head.”
They provide a valuable service to those who would use them. For the rest of us, who have no desire of their services, they are thugs, enforcers of unjust laws that we did not write, endorse, or consent to the passing of.
Poor cops have it rough. Everyone being mean to them.
As a former cop can you give us an estimation of how much (on average) of a cop’s day is spent actually dealing with real (in other words, not victimless) crime? How much of your actual work day was really tied up trying to track down stolen car stereos, for example?
