Every Town Needs a Freedom’s Phoenix

In April of this year I had the pleasure of accompanying the Motorhome Diaries crew for a tour of the Freedom’s Phoenix workshop in Phoenix, Arizona.  I think that I speak for Pete, Jason and Adam in saying that we were all very impressed with the workshop and its dedicated cadre of liberty activists.

The Freedom’s Phoenix people produce large quantities of signs, banners, flyers and pamphlets with almost assembly-line efficiency.  As we toured the workshop and met with the dedicated activists several of them were preparing compact discs and spray-painting signs and banners right outside.  The building was nothing special, and did not need to be. It had plenty of room for tables, cubicles, printing presses, an evening news-style studio, a control room, radio booth, pamphlet machine, etc… With the commercial real estate market in the shape it is in there is no reason why three or four activists could not chip in the money for such a space anywhere on the planet and such a space would attract others to the cause for the feeling of camaraderie that this group has.

Just watch these guys in action putting out signs for the Adam Kokesh for Congress campaign. An extra kudos for Freedom’s Phoenix is in order as Kokesh is running in New Mexico, rather than Arizona.

Agent Xaq Fixx and others are hard at work planning a Free Agents Network version of such a workshop over on the Fr33 Agent Labs group on the social network. We have been fortunate enough to have Ben Nichols from Freedom’s Phoenix join up with the Fr33 Agent Labs group so that we can pick his brain a bit.

Everyone seems to be returning from PorcFest. Back to work!
